With so many parents and grandparents expressing their concerns about toxic toys,
we've set out to find safe, locally made alternatives. Meet Jacob Zimmerman, who
lives outside of Lancaster. Jacob tells us that after 30 years of farming, he now
prefers woodworking in his shop. His toys are safe for little ones: mostly unfinished,
finished with vegetable oil, or decorated with kid-safe paints.
As part of our effort to be earth-friendly, it is our goal to sell locally made
products. If you know of a person who makes wooden or other small-child oriented toys,
