BirthMark, a family resource and boutique with a unique focus on
pregnancy and the year following the birth of a baby. The goal of
BirthMark is to offer one stop shopping: resources, information,
products and support all in one warm, inviting package.
Birthmark is a cozy boutique offering innovative products and
gifts for both baby and parents. With a focus on style, quality and
practicality, our products are specifically selected because they work!
Whenever possible, our products are environmentally friendly and Fair
Trade.

BirthMark now offers childcare during yoga and pilates!
At your request, childcare will be available Saturdays for
children age four and under
Space is limited, so reserve your slot!
To date, we have found the greatest interest at our Bishop Hollow location being in our classes and support groups. In response to this, we are adding additional classes and groups.
Retail sales will be available before and after these times, and on a by-appointment-only basis for personalized shopping.

BirthMark also offers breastfeeding support at our
Breastfeeding Clinic. Our services include lactation consultants
available for in-store or at-home visits. Our weekly breastfeeding
support group provides nursing mothers with the social network and and
community that has been proven to lead to greater breastfeeding
success. In addition, we offer a full line of breastfeeding support

Not every new parenting experience is ideal. When a parent is
struggling with postpartum depression or another postpartum mood
disorder, understanding, expert help and support services make all the
difference. Our services include:
Counseling
Clinical support groups, both in person and by phone
Postpartum doulas specializing in perinatal mood disorders
At BirthMark, our goal is to create a community of growing
families. Research indicates that new parents who have a support
network made up of other parents with babies may have an easier time in
adjusting and may even have less postpartum depression. Our support
groups provide an opportunity to meet other parents and build lasting
friendships.
In order to foster our BirthMark parenting community, we
offer free seminars. These are an opportunity to take in new
information, have questioned answered, meet local experts, and make

Breastfeeding Support Seminars for Medical Professionals
Many parents find the supportive presence of a doula, or
non-medical birth or postpartum professional, to be a valuable asset as
they navigate the unfamiliar territories of birth and the postpartum
period. Birth Mark is the home of Delaware Valley Birthing Partners,
offering birth and postpartum doula support in the Philadelphia area
for over 10 years.
